Event Fire Safety

Event-specific Fire Risk Assessments, hire extinguishers, temporary structure and marquee cover, marshal briefings and licensing-ready evidence packs — outdoor events, festivals, weddings, pop-ups and film shoots.

Event Fire Safety

What event fire safety covers

Any event where the public or staff are present needs documented fire cover under the Fire Safety Order 2005 — an event-specific Fire Risk Assessment against the actual layout, extinguisher provision matched to the assessed risk, signage, and a briefing note the site team can actually use on the day. Councils routinely ask for this as part of a premises licence or temporary event notice.

Outdoor events and festivals

Outdoor events add ignition sources (generators, catering LPG, pyrotechnics, hot lights), temporary structures (marquees, staging) and larger dynamic headcounts. The FRA is written against the built layout, not the pre-event drawing — we attend the site build, sign off the final configuration, and re-issue the assessment if anything changes.

Weddings, pop-ups and film shoots

Smaller events at private venues, pop-up food markets and film / stills shoots need the same three artefacts on a smaller scale: FRA, extinguisher provision (usually including F-class for kitchens and CO₂ for hot-works), and a marshal note. We deliver, sign the units on, and collect after the event — no waste-cylinder cost.

Temporary structures

Marquees, staging and catering structures are the highest-scrutiny areas at licensing. Extinguisher provision is sited against the actual build, means-of-escape are recorded per structure, and hot-works or pyrotechnics permits are included in the pack where applicable.

One licensing pack

Every event closes with a single PDF: the FRA, the extinguisher schedule with tag photos, the marshal briefing note, emergency contact list and signed delivery docket. Designed to drop straight into the licensing evidence file with no rework.
